Rust water in the Corten steel pond
The Geroba Estani ponds are finished with a black rubber coating on the inside. This prevents the water from turning orange during the initial stages of the rusting process. Furthermore, the coating provides extra protection against potential leaks.
Forms
In addition to square or rectangular ponds, round Corten steel ponds are also possible. Below you will find an overview of the standard sizes.
Fish in the pond
Yes, that is certainly possible. Thanks to the rubber coating, no rust particles will get into the water. So the fish are more than welcome.
Existing concrete pond
Yes, we can line and finish an existing pond with Corten steel.
How are the ponds finished?
In addition to the coating that protects the Corten steel on the inside, the pond has an overflow pipe so that no water can spill out of the pond during heavy rainfall. The ponds have a 5 cm rim as standard.
Can I install a waterfall for the pond?
Yes, that is possible. There are two options for this. A waterfall element as a standalone piece placed NEXT to the pond. Another option is to place the water feature on the edge of the pond. Discover our Estani waterfall elements here . These are available in both aluminium and Corten steel.
