Water Bowls
A water bowl is the quietest water element in a garden: no current, just a still surface that reflects the sky and the planting around it. At home on a terrace, in a border, or as the end point of a sightline.
Our water bowls are made of Corten steel. Outdoors this steel forms a natural rust layer that protects the material underneath and gives it the recognisable warm, orange-brown colour. That colour develops gradually. The bowl comes in several sizes and can be combined with a pump or water ornament.

Corten steel water bowl: calm and reflection in the garden
Where a water table or waterfall is about movement and sound, a water bowl is about stillness. The water surface acts as a mirror for the sky, the planting and the light, bringing calm to a terrace, border or city garden. A Corten steel water bowl or basin is one of the simplest ways to bring water into the garden.
Where do you place a water bowl?
Next to a seating area on the terrace, among low planting in a border, as an eye-catcher at the end of a path or sightline, or in a small garden with no room for a pond. The Aquadi water bowl comes in several sizes, so you can choose the size that suits the spot.
Why Corten steel?
Corten steel is a weathering steel that forms a natural rust layer outdoors. This layer protects the steel underneath and gives the bowl its warm, orange-brown colour. The colour develops gradually under the influence of rain and outdoor air, giving each bowl its own character.
Still water or with a pump
Filled with water, the water bowl is a still feature without any technology. If you would like some movement and sound, combine it with a pump or a water ornament.
Installation
Place the water bowl on a flat, stable surface and fill it with water. Because water evaporates outdoors, top it up regularly. Looking for more movement? Have a look at the water tables and waterfall elements.
