Geroba on TV: our Corten steel panels in Goed Geplant on VTM
On Sunday 18 October, Belgian TV programme Goed Geplant on VTM showed a garden in which our Corten steel panels play a leading role.
The garden was designed by Els Lemaitre (Tuinen Lemaitre) and built by Groenburo. Geroba supplied the Corten steel panels.

A layered garden of steel, timber and water
The garden is built up in layers. At the front, a gravel path with large stepping stones and borders full of perennials and young trees. Behind it, a generous timber deck with a clean-lined water basin that brings calm to the whole design.
The Corten steel panels stand along the edges and at the back of the garden. They screen where needed and give the planting a warm, quiet backdrop.
Why Corten steel works so well in a garden
Corten steel forms a natural rust layer that protects the steel. Over time it deepens into a warm rust-brown, which makes the green around it look even greener.
