The Corten steel plinth in U-shape combines a sleek display plinth with extra functionality. The open shape gives the plinth a lighter character and makes it suitable for placing decorative wood or other garden accessories underneath.
This version measures 400 x 400 x 1000 mm and is made from 2 mm thick Corten steel. The plinth can be used to stylishly display a sculpture, vase, planter, fire bowl or other decorative element in the garden, on the patio or by an entrance area.

Why choose Corten steel?
Corten steel is a weathering steel that gradually develops a natural rust layer outdoors. This layer gives the plinth its typical warm colour and protects the underlying steel from further deterioration.
On delivery, the Corten steel may still be steel-grey or only partially rusted. Through exposure to rain and outdoor air, the surface gradually evolves into a natural orange-brown rust colour. This gives each plinth its own character.
Use and placement advice
The U-shape is ideal when you want to not only display an object but also create extra atmosphere or depth. The open section can be filled with firewood, making the plinth both functional and decorative.
Place the plinth on a flat, stable surface. You can also combine several heights or sizes for a playful yet stylish arrangement.
