Geroba was commissioned by the municipality of Borgloon to make a plaque with a pedestal to commemorate 1000 years of Borgloon.
The plate was made of 10 mm thick Corten steel and 3.15 m high and 1.8 m wide. The poem was written especially for this occasion by the poet Herman Rohaert.
